EXCLUSIVE: Dalljiet Kaur opens up how women in ex-husband Nikhil Patel’s life have abused her; says,”You stay the F**k out, I’ll sue you”

Dalljiet Kaur made her comeback to television with Colors TV’s Swaragini – Jodein Rishton Ke Sur where she played Janki. She later made an episodic appearance in Life OK’s Savdhaan India. From 2015 to 2017, she played one of the leads in Zee TV’s Kaala Teeka. In an exclusive interview with the Bollywood Bubble, Dalljiet Kaur opened up about how women in ex-husband Nikhil Patel’s life have abused her.

Dalljiet Kaur on being threatened

During the interview, actress Dalljiet Kaur opens up on how her ex-husband Nikhil Patel threatened her. She said, “He is a very big man and is a well-connected man. And yeah, he can harm me or whatever, like he would say, you know, ‘I am so connected’ I know people’s kind of conversations. Let me be very clear that I am not scared of you, dude, bring it on. And I went to the police station and said, ‘In case something happens to me, you should know why it happened and who did it.’ Like that’s how fearful a person is made of, a person who is barely finding ground. ‘I am saying, go kill somebody or do something to somebody who’s help do your size. Fight with a person of your size.'”

Further added, “Please pick up a battle with someone who is doing whatever and doesn’t have a kid; maybe hasn’t gone through enough. I have gone through a lot in my life, and then you walk in and you are very glorifying in your accent and end up doing whatever; you don’t get to do. That’s not right.”

Dalljiet Kaur on being abused

Speaking about how the women in Nikhil Patel’s life have abused Dalljiet Kaur, she said “As much as I know the women in his life without taking any names. He’s got women who will be told what to say, and they will say exactly that, or they will be. I’ve got messages with very nice abusive words in them saying, Shut up. Do not talk about me or my family. I will do it. If you guys are going to be doing what you guys are doing, I will speak, and I’m not speaking about you who has done what with me and my son.”

Dalljiet Kaur recalled there was no sisterhood instead they threatened to sue her. She said,” It’s just something like sisterhood; there’s an abusive, interesting, and then his person also messages me. You stay the F**k out, I’ll sue you. I’m like, please sue me. I’m waiting for you to sue me. Challenge me that you guys were not together. You can tell this to whoever you want that this was forged or photoshopped.”

Dalljiet Kaur on suing her

The Nach Baliye 4 winner recalls being threatened to sue. She said, “You can tell this to whoever you want that it was forged, it was photoshopped, or whatever. Yeah, please do, but the fact is, I have, and I’m saying this with not just evidence I’ve got. It’s crazy how much proof I have. I’m like, please sue me like I don’t even want to do that, but I’ll do it with the rage of a wife, like I am angry right now and then you are not stopping dude constantly, and then you put a ring, and then you’re clicking a picture, making sure why are you doing all that? I’m saying, Where is the ring?

She added, “No, I’m not coming to Kenya to see you. You’re given a notice. You’re probably married, but I don’t care what you’re doing anyway. Why are you because you want attention? Because I’m not speaking about you, but you want attention, right?”
